POISONOUS TALK is an intense and theatrical lyric video that brings to life a dramatic retelling of a recent Tom Cruise interview, where he claps back at Nicole Kidman’s public remarks about their marriage. Using Suno 3.5 to animate the emotional tension, I transformed Cruise's complaints into a Broadway-style ballad filled with sharp, poignant lyrics and slow-motion clips of Tom Cruise body-doubles running through the streets of Los Angeles. The piece explores the raw frustration of living in the shadow of a past relationship, blending drama, humor, and visual storytelling in a way that feels almost surreal. Are we meant to know this much about people we don’t know? But at the same time, can their real lives ever be seen as normal to us?
Produced with Suno V3.5, the rendering stays true to the prompt. Using a series of photographic frames from Midjourney V6 I brought the Toms to life with Runway Gen 3. For this piece the type needed to be emphasized in Capcut due to the dramatic nature of the content. Additional call-outs are included for effect.
