New Things: George's Lament

In this short, introspective spoken word piece, a weathered and disgruntled figure takes the stage to confront Hollywood elites with raw honesty and biting humor. This chopped up monologue captures the frustrations, wisdom, and sardonic wit of an actor who’s seen it all, offering a unique lens on the industry and its evolution.

Written using only words and phrases from recent interviews with George Clooney during the Wolfs press tour, the spoken word piece weaves a sharp critique of fame, the studio system, and the fleeting nature of stardom. Produced with Suno V3.5, the rendering has an eerie resemblance to the actor, giving the piece more artistic spin. Using a series of stylized frames from Midjourney V6 I later brought motion into the stills with Runway Gen 2. For this piece the words felt heavier so I spent more time in Capcut fine tuning the placement, style and scale.
