Curtains (Floral Block)

Curtains (Floral Block) is a poetic reflection on the stories we imagine versus the quiet truths we uncover. From daydreams of family collages and sentimental fabrics to the reality of kneading paws on soft wood, the song captures the tension between imagination and humility.

Conceived and transcribed into a Google Doc while walking a doodle named Walter, then trusting some unexpected genres in Suno V3.5, this bittersweet pondering became more than it deserved. The lyric video concept was simple to execute. Using a frame composed in Midjourney V6 I removed the cat from frame and then zoomed out a distance, using the reverse as our forward action. Capcut added some vintage cues, lyrics and transitions.
